When Chibi is frozen, he normally remains frozen in a cube of ice for a few seconds before you gain control. However you can powerslash the ice block to free Chibi early. If done in mid-air you can get an additional jump. This can only be done once because of invincibility frames, and unlike [[D Boosts]] in Okami, this is not frame prefect.

Explanation
