Paper Clip

Paper Clip (AKA Tree Clip) is a method of clipping through collision using the force applied to Ammy by the trees created using the dot sub-technique of Bloom. By placing the a tree near a corner, and then walking or jumping between it and the corner, Ammy will be forced into the corner. Depending on adjacent collision and other additional actions (such as tackling into the tree before it disappears), Ammy can be forced through one of the walls.


Because of the requirement of having a grass-type Holy Smoke surface in order to create Bloom trees, the applications of this technique are fairly limited:

  • EZ Clip - A method of entering Tsuta Ruins without the Tsuta Key
  • Blockhead Clip - A method of skipping the first half of Tsuta Ruins by clipping into Blockhead from behind


This glitch was discovered by LegoerofEggos on the 8th of February, 2022. Lego first posted a video of Blockhead Clip on Twitter: Astral proposed using the same technique to clip into Tsuta Ruins from Agata, and Lego quickly succeeded, posting another video:
