Explanation

In the triple Devil Gate room in Tsuta Ruins, it is possible to skip the cutscene after drawing Sunrise to grow the mushrooms, but only if the Skip button is pressed on a single frame window. This saves roughly 18 seconds compared with watching the cutscene.

While the timing of the skip is static compared with releasing the brush to draw sunrise, the lack of a clear visual cue leads most players to mash the skip button (or use Turbo, which is permitted by the community rules) when attempting it. Since even a perfect mash can only press start every other frame, mashing has a consistency of 50% at best.

This trick cannot be performed in the |2017 Versions, as skipping cutscenes requires the skip button to be pressed twice in those versions. This takes at least 3 frames (1 to press the button, 1 to release, and 1 to press again), making it impossible.
