Explanation
In Ryoshima Coast, there is a scripted battle which introduces the Ubume enemy (resembles a goose/swan with an umbrella). It is possible to get around the fight trigger, which is located on the pier which extends into the sea West of Sei-an, skipping the fight.
In NG+
The fight trigger can simply be skipped with a single KT up to the North ledge from the ramp leading up to the pier. In All Brushes going the other side is used since you need to go to Sei-an.

In NG
It is just possible to double jump around the trigger while hugging the cliffside to the left of the ramp leading from the pier toward Sei-an.
